How to use the robinpay app

Create an account

All you need is an email address, phone number and an existing bank account. To download the app, go to the App Store or Google Play

Select your bank account

Open the app and select your bank from the list. Log in to your internet banking or through your mobile banking app and tap to confirm your bank account.

Scan QR code

Point your phone in the direction of the QR code, the app will do the rest.

Authorise Transaction

Review the amount and beneficiary and tap Confirm. Use FaceID or your pin to authenticate.

Do I need a POS or card terminal?

There is no need of a POS or card terminal, QR codes can be printed or displayed on an existing electronic device (such as mobile phone or tablet).
Where can I use robinpay?

You can use robinpay anywhere in the UK. We are currently working on expanding the list of merchants that accept robinpay payments.
How long payments take to process?

Payments are sent instantly, typically through Faster Payments.
Is robinpay safe?

Yes, robinpay builds upon the existing banking infrastructure, it utilises strong customer authentication and biometrics. QR code and underlying analytics make transactions more secure.
